Can anyone run the 5K?
Yes, the event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. You can register for the 5K or you can register for the 2 mile fitness walk.

Do I have to run the whole 3.1 miles?
You do not have to run the whole distance. MANY people will run part of the race taking walk breaks all along the way. You can register for the 2 mile walk if you're not quite ready to tackle a 5K or need a smoother route to push a baby stroller.

Can I reserve a tee shirt in a certain size?
You can reserve a shirt in a specific size if you register online. Shirts in specific sizes will be first come, first served on race day. Shirts will not be mailed.

Are there awards for top finishers?
Medal & Prizes to the overall first place male and first place female finisher. Medals to the first place male and first place female in seven age groups: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 -59, 60 & over.

Overall 5K winners are excluded from age group awards. Participants cannot win multiple awards.

Are baby strollers allowed?
Yes, but be advised that the course is on natural terrain, and pushing a stroller can be difficult. Consider registering for the 2 mile walk which does not go through the woods (but is on grassy terrain.) Baby strollers must line up at the back with walkers.

Is there a water aid station?
Yes, there is a water station at approximately mile 2. Water will be availalble at the finish line.

Will there be a bag-check?
There is no bag check. Please plan accordingly.

Can I get a refund or transfer my entry?
Please note that as the HelpHOPELive for David Hudgik 5K is a nonprofit fundraising event, registration fees are non-refundable.
We do sympathize with life's uncertainties, but we are unable to offer refunds. We CAN transfer your registration to someone else if you are unable to attend. Just email us at at _________ to request a transfer.

Where is the start and how do I get there?
The race starts and finishes behind Keene High School, 43 Arch Street, Keene NH.

What are the parking accomodations?
There is plenty of free parking at the high school. Please park on either side of the school. There is no parking at the rear of the school.

Is the race timed?
Yes, the race will be timed manually.

What is the raffle all about?
There are many generous businesses that support our fundraising effort. Many have donated products and services for you to win via the purchase of raffle tickets.
• All registered runners/walkers will receive two FREE raffle tickets.
• You can purchase additional raffle tickets on the day of the run.
• Proceeds from the raffle benefit the Northeast Spinal Cord Injury Fund in Honor of David Hudgik

What if it rains?
This event is rain or shine.

Can I volunteer to help?
Yes! If you would like to volunteer to help at the race please
visit the volunteer page.

Can I just be a spectator?
Sure! Come show your support for our participants. Spectators are encouraged to cheer for participants along the route and near the finish line.
And you can participate in the raffle. We'll have some great prizes!

Are there restrooms at the race?
Yes, restrooms are available at the high school.
